1862年5月5日，法军在普拉布埃与Ignacio
Zaragoza Seguin将军的墨西哥军队交战。法军虽然有八千人，墨西哥只有四千，但是骄傲轻敌的法军在炮兵过早消耗完弹药后，被墨西哥骑兵击溃。这一天后来成为五月五日节（Cinco

Mayo）。这个节日不仅为了纪念墨西哥人在抵抗外国侵略的爱国热情和民族主义，在敌强我弱条件下大败敌军的勇敢和智慧，还是纪念欧洲殖民者在美洲的最后一场战役，此后没有任何欧洲国家在美洲的土地上进行战争。 这一天，在广东珠三角一带的墨西哥人、拉美人、凑热闹的国人，汇聚在深圳蛇口墨西哥仙人掌餐厅，庆祝墨西哥对法国战争胜利150周年。

不丹，梵语的意思是“西藏边陲”。享有“最后的香格里拉”的美誉，位于中国和印度之间，面积3.8万平方公里。中国和不丹有长达470多公里的边界线。不丹人口近70万，基本上信奉藏传佛教。中国和不丹长期以来有着紧密的宗教、文化和经济联系。不丹限制入境游客的数量，一是保护资源，二来接待能力有限。国家不大，地不广，人稀。接触到的人不多，但总体感觉都自我满足，很有幸福感，国民幸福指数居世界前列。

Mount Etna erupted again in 2011 on July 9, and February 9, 2012.

弗拉门戈舞是西班牙安达卢西亚地区吉普赛人（又称弗拉门戈人）的音乐和舞蹈。被誉为西班牙民族音乐舞蹈的国宝。风情的舞裙衬托形体的张力，跳起奔放、热情、舒展而优美的舞步，踏着响板的节奏，和着吉他的旋律，踏着拍掌歌手的乐点，扬起挣扎呐喊的手臂……该艺术形式融舞蹈、歌唱、器乐于一体，融合了欧洲的华丽、美洲的奔放而享誉世界舞台，充满激情、奔放和浓郁的伊比利亚风格，体现西班牙的浪漫主义情怀。2010年，弗拉门戈舞被联合国列为非物质文化遗产。 Flamenco is a genre of music, song and dance from the Spanish region of Andalusia, noted for its energetic, staccato style. It grew from Andalusian music, song and dance styles. The cante (singing), toque (guitar playing), dance and palmas (handclaps) are the principal facets of flamenco. In recent years flamenco has become popular all over the world and is taught in many countries. On November 16, 2010, UNESCO declared Flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

It is a painting in oil on a poplar panel, completed circa 1503-1519. It is on permanent display at the Musee du Louvre in Paris.

陈独秀（1879-1942），新文化运动的发起人和旗帜，中国文化启蒙运动的先驱，五四运动的总司令，中国共产党的创始人及首任总书记，中共一大至五大期间党的最高领袖。图片摄于安徽安庆陈独秀纪念馆。 Chen Duxiu (1879 - 1942) played many different and important roles in Chinese modern history. He was the leading figure in the May Fourth Movement for Science and Democracy. Along with Li Dazhao, Chen was a co-founder of the Chinese Communist Party in 1921. He was its first General Secretary. Chen was an educator and philosopher. His ancestral home was in Anqing, Anhui, where he established the influential vernacular Chinese periodical La Jeunesse.
