This is the first picture taken at the Vista Point near D.L. Bliss State Park. The highway 89 is a two-lane road winding its way up the hill in the West South part of the lake. After serveral turning arounds, this is what you suddenly see on your right. Even it is quite dangerous to stop there,　I did stop to take a shot. Many trees covered part of the lake, making you feel that you just want to go ahead and explore it completely and get close. It is a moment you feel truly excited about something beautiful that is so near to you.

This is taken at a corner of D.L. Bliss State Park. It is pity that the camera can capture just a small fraction of something as big as the rocky hill, as well as its color, and its sense of drastic toughness in the picture of blue sky, white sky and deep blue lake. As you can see, clouds form shadows that is constantly moving and changing, making the hill feel like smoky and ever changing, a place out of reality, a picture where the paint is living.

Stones and Lakes, taken at the Emrald Bay Park North Side.

This is taken at Vista Point before Emerald Bay State Park. It is even better than the ones taken at the park itself. The little island must be why it is called Emerald Bay here. Digitial camera can never be good capture the distance and layers of the nature. It is just such a wide open water area that seems to be intelligently designed by the nature.

This is taken when rafting down the quiet truckee river. I took a picture for the little boy and his dog because they are irresistably cute and funny. He was paddling really hard and serious but the dog seems to be relaxing and looking around. The whole Lake Tahoe and Truckee was really owned by the Indians before. I guess they must be fighting really hard to secure the ownership of such a beautiful piece of dream land.

Swimmed here for over three hours.　The water is so clear you can see everything　under the water, stones, branches,　water grass. Swimmed from the where the tree is to the　stones on the　far right side.　It is not as wavy as in the sea, you feel like you are free to go anywhere with your strenghth.
